Enterprise Management Suite

Complete management for your OSGi-based deployments. ProSyst's Enterprise Management Suite (EMS) is a powerful management system allowing the remote administration of your OSGi applications. The features range from simple bundle and configuration management to multi-server repository-based deployments. EMS greatly simplifies the server operation and helps maximizing faultless services.

  • Bundle management - Manage your bundles via a powerful graphical control center. Multi-server management Initiate management operation on a group of servers.

  • Software repository - Store your bundles in the EMS bundle repository and profit from powerful resolving possibilities. Bundles can be imported from Maven repositories.

  • Snapshots - Make a snapshot of your server state and restore it at any time in the future.

  • Logging - Collect and monitor all log events from all connected servers. EMS supports all typical logging frameworks, e.g. OSGi LogService, SLF4J, LOG4J, Commons Logging, Java Logging

  • JMX representation - EMS will register JMX MBeans in the managed server JVM to present OSGi state for JMX clients. This enables seamless integration of existing JMX-based monitoring tools.

  • Configuration - Front-end for the OSGi Configuration Admin service.

  • Offline mode - Management operations can be invoked even if the managed servers are not connected. Once they connect, EMS will activate the desired configuration.

  • Management procedures - Management operations can be defined as textual procedures to ease the implementation of complex scenarios.

  • Multi user support - Permissions can be defined to limit the management possibilities for certain logins to specific servers and operations.

  • Web UI frontend - EMS provides a rich AJAX-based UI and can be completely used via the browser
